NEW CARLISLE - Meadow View Growers is in the process of preserving an old bank barn in Medway that was built with wood that dates back to the late 1700s. The business, which is located in New Carlisle and specializes in locally grown seasonal plants, plans to use what is affectionately called the "Ole Barn" for storage.

SPRINGFIELD - Springfielder Dan Hrinko started recreating 18th century woodworking after seeking to find accurate furniture during re-enactments he was participating in. After looking more into the history of the furniture, Hrinko decided to get serious about his woodworking 15 years ago.

Little Art Theatre tackles big changes *ONA award-winning story*
YELLOW SPRINGS - After a five-month renovation period, the Little Art Theatre in Yellow Springs has reopened to the public. With a new screen, new projector, new seats and new sight lines, this small-town theatre has been completely upgraded. Jenny Cowperthwaite, executive director of the Little Art Theatre, said she had no choice but to renovate. The theatre had operated on two 35 mm film projectors for the past 60 to 70 years, but the film industry has stopped making movies on 35 mm film.
